First Person Arts’ popular anti-Valentine’s Day story slam is back, Philadelphia Distilling throws a birthday bash and more fun things to do in Philadelphia this weekend for an excellent cause

This is for the anti-Valentine’s Day crowd (or lovebird with a good sense of humor): Check out the 10th annual Ex-Files StorySlam, which finds a host of locals spinning five-minute tales each about former flames. The stories run the gamut from hilarious to downright pissy—and almost always make you feel better about your own situation. Ticket sales benefit First Person Arts, the local org that champions community-building and connection through the art of storytelling. Friday, February 14, 7pm and 9pm, Underground Arts, 1200 Callowhill Street.
