Trigger Film Screening At Dare To Imagine Church

In 2023, there have been more homicides in the city than there have been days.

Dare to Imagine Church & New Covenant Church of Philadelphia have partnered to bring you this screening because believe that the current state of affairs is unacceptable and there must be action taken to make Philadelphia a safe place to live. It’s time to put an end to the senseless violence, and it starts now.

Join us for a documentary screening that brings to light the realities of this dire issue and its critical impact on our community. The documentary TRIGGER is both a call to understanding and a call to action about the roles each of us must play in combating the gun violence epidemic in Philadelphia and beyond. Featuring storytellers from Philadelphia sharing their lived experiences with gun violence and their shared search for hope with a vengeance.

TRIGGER is presented by the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services, the DBHIDS Division of Planning Innovation, and the DBHIDS Engaging Males of Color Initiative.
