We all have those moments when we’ve had to say we’re sorry. But, let’s get real, sometimes saying you’re sorry is more about payback for that old flame or frenemy than an actual apology.

Tell us about that time you said you were sorry, that time you said you were sorry but didn’t *really* mean it, or even that time when you knew your opinion would be unpopular but you gave it anyway.

Bring all your #sorrynotsorry moments–and the stories behind them–to the First Person Arts Sorry Not Sorry StorySlam at World Cafe Live on 3/26 at 8pm.

Never been to a First Person Arts StorySlam before? No problem. First Person Arts StorySlams are like open mics for people who love stories. We provide a theme, and you provide a 100% true, personal story. You’ve got 5 minutes on stage to entertain the “most engaged audience in Philly.” No notes or props allowed.

Our host, Philly’s comic and award-winning goof, Betty J Smithsonian as she keeps things light and fun. Our judge, comic Lamarr Todd, a mystery guest judge, and an audience judge help score the stories and give our storytellers helpful hints on how to improve their tales. The winner takes home $100 and bragging rights until next month.

Join Betty, Lamarr, and the whole First Person Arts team on 3/26 at World Cafe Live for a fun night filled with stories told by you–our audience–live on stage. The show starts at 8pm.
