StorySlam: Ex Files StorySlam Live!

Whether you have an on-again, off-again relationship or are never getting back together, breakups are painful, often liberating, and sometimes even funny.

Bring your situationship, bestie, ex, or just yourself as Ex Files, Philly’s ORIGINAL Anti-Valentine’s Day StorySlam, returns to Underground Arts on Wednesday, February 14th @ 8 pm.

Tickets are just $15.

Take the stage to share your true, personal story about that ex who broke your heart, the one who got away, or the one you ran far, far away from.

Get ready to laugh and cry as Philly gets real–live on stage!

Never been to a First Person Arts StorySlam before? No problem. First Person Arts StorySlams are like open mics for people who love stories. We provide a theme, and you provide a 100% true, personal story. You’ve got 5 minutes on stage to entertain the “most engaged audience in Philly.” No notes or props allowed.

Real-life couple, Dr. Neil Bardhan and Kelsey Stewart will host and keep score as Philly gets real about true loves lost and found.

Our judge, comic Lamarr Todd, a mystery guest judge, and an audience judge help score the stories and give our storytellers helpful hints on how to improve their tales. The winner takes home $100 and bragging rights until next month.

Join Neil and Kelsey, Lamarr, and the whole First Person Arts team on 2/14 at Underground Arts for a fun night filled with stories told by you–our audience–live on stage. The show starts at 8 pm.
