Inappropriate! – A Sexual Harassment Story Summit
Join First Person Arts for INAPPROPRIATE! – a two day story summit on how stories can help, heal and prevent the trauma of sexual harassment and assault. The INAPPROPRIATE! sexual harassment story summit is sponsored by the PA Human Relations Commission and features over 20 speakers, workshops and discussions on how stories can play a role in recovery, advocacy and education around inappropriate behavior. Select panelist and workshop facilitators include Marta Rusek, Leora Eisenstadt, Daralyse Lyons, and Isy Abraham-Raveson.
About First Person Arts: First Person Arts, Philly’s premier storytelling organization, has brought thousands of true stories to the spotlight of Philly stages for more than 21 years – building community by connecting people, one story at a time.
The first installment of our 2022-23 season of in-community and digital events brings back classics like Sex-Files and Ex-Files – as we explore stories of relationships, intimacy, “good riddens” and new beginnings, from saying goodbye to the most hilarious coming out story you have ever heard! We start it all off with a look at the “inappropriate!” and how to survive and thrive afterwards during our two-day Sexual Harassment Story Summit.
About the PA Human Relations Commission: The PHRC promotes equal opportunity for all and enforces Pennsylvania’s civil rights laws that protect people from unlawful discrimination. As Pennsylvania’s civil rights leader, it is our vision that all people in Pennsylvania will live, work, and learn free from unlawful discrimination.
