What’s a StorySlam? A StorySlam is more than a storytelling competition. It’s an invitation to share five minutes of your life in a room full of people who appreciate a well-told tale. Each night features a new theme, so the stories are always fresh and entertaining. Come and lend an ear, or share an experience. Got five minutes?

StorySlams take place on the second Monday of each month at World Cafe Live and the fourth Tuesday of each month at L’Etage (except for May and November).

World Cafe Live is located at 3025 Walnut Street. L’Etage is located at 6th & Bainbridge Streets. Doors open at 7:30PM, and the slam begins at 8:30.

StorySlams at World Cafe Live are all-ages events; Slams at L’Etage are 21+.

Support provided in part by the Philadelphia Cultural Fund.

StorySlams at World Cafe Live are presented by Penn’s Master of Liberal Arts Program.

StorySlams at L’Etage are presented by Harmelin Media
