What’s a StorySlam? A StorySlam is more than a storytelling competition. It’s an invitation to share five minutes of your life in a room full of people who appreciate a well-told tale. Audience storytellers take to the stage with real life stories on the theme of the night. Winners get $100 prize and the chance to compete in the season finale Grand Slam. Got five minutes? Come and lend an ear, or share an experience.

StorySlams take place on the second Monday of each month at World Cafe Live (3025 Walnut Street) and the fourth Tuesday of each month at L’Etage (6th & Bainbridge Streets).* Doors open at 7:30PM, and Slams begin at 8:30PM. StorySlams at World Cafe Live are all-ages events; Slams at L’Etage are 21+.
