Before his career in public radio, WHYY’s Dave Davies worked as a cab driver. In this tale, Dave recalls one of his most memorable experiences as a cabbie: A day when he got an intimate glimpse into the life of one of his passengers, and witnessed a story he says he didn’t really want to hear.
This story was performed live at the 13th Annual First Person Arts Festival presented by PNC Arts Alive. The First Person Arts Podcast is made possible thanks to support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Special thanks to Philadelphia Weekly and WHYY’s NewsWorks.
