Meet Grand Slam Contestant Steve!

GSStortyeller_Steve

Come out to the 13th FPA Grand Slam! We’ve got 11 contestants who cannot wait to share their stories on the them “Thanks A Lot” with YOU! Today, we’re introducing one contestant who is no stranger to the Grand Slam, Steve.

Name: Steve Clark
Age: 30 Human Years
Location: Fairmount
Slam won: High Point

AG: What was the last thing you won (StorySlam not included)?
SC: I got chosen to be in the Grand Finale of a Las Vegas Street Show because I looked like a “Tall Rich White Guy.”

AG: This is our 13th Annual FPA Fest. In honor of that, could you share with us a 13 word story?
SC: Because of some spills, one of my students once nicknamed me “Two Stainz.”

AG: For the first time ever, the winner of this Grand Slam will get a $250 CASH PRIZE! What will you do with the money if you win?
SC: Buy my friends and family who came out to support something to celebrate!

AG: What would your dream theme be for a StorySlam? What story would you tell?
SC: Awkward. “The Story of My Life,” as One Direction would say.

AG: Who would you love to perform live on stage with?
SC: Bob Saget. I imagine my future self looks a lot like him.

AG: Why are you a good storyteller? (aka why should your competitors be scared?)
SC: I think I have a unique approach to storytelling; I think a lot about the structure of a story when I prepare. I always try to do something unique with the way the story is told.
