Inheritance: A Laughing Matter

Families pass things down to let their loved ones know they care. Whether you’ve got grammy’s big nose, dad’s bad temper, or Uncle Bernie’s alcoholism, chances are you’re in good familial company. At last night’s “Inheritance” StorySlam we passed down Niagara sized daredevil tendencies and a cranial dent after repeatedly missing the off-ramp leading out of the womb. But it was our winning story that stopped traffic in a whole other country.

Check out last night’s winning story by Mo and learn what she inherited from her parents that’s not dysfunctional, but awesome in the video below. Don’t miss the story that won Anissa the title of Audience Favorite coming soon!

Congratulations Mo and Anissa! Special thanks to everyone who came out to last night’s Slam. Stay tuned for more videos from all of our storytellers.
