Development Intern

The Development Intern works on grant research and writing, and maintaining donation records. While development experience is not necessary, candidates should have excellent writing and proofreading skills, be fluent with the basic Office suite of programs, and have some experience working with databases. Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern works closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager in all aspects of promoting First Person Arts (FPA) live events and media products. Key responsibilities include: Copywriting and editing FPA marketing collateral, blogging on firstpersonarts.org, working in Constant Contact to assist in building organizational eblasts, collecting and interpreting audience survey data, helping maintain online event presence by coordinating all event web listings, maintaining database records, providing occasional support at live events, and printing and cutting distribution materials. Creative Suite proficiency, a plus. Candidates should have excellent writing skills and be detail oriented. Photography Intern

The Photography Intern works closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to create and organize photos of First Person Arts’ programs and activities. Candidates must have their own digital SLR camera. Intern must be available to photograph StorySlams and select First Person Arts events throughout the season and at the First Person Arts Festival. Programming Intern

The Programming Intern assists in the planning and implementation of all First Person Arts programming. Candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills and be detail oriented. Intern must be available for StorySlams and select First Person Arts events throughout the season. Video Coordinator

The Video Coordinator works with the Marketing and Communications Manager to shoot, edit, archive, and upload live event footage. Candidates must have a working knowledge of video recording equipment, editing software, and YouTube. He/She must also have access to an HD video camera, and software programs Adobe Premiere or Final Cut on a personal computer. Knowledge of After Effects is a plus. This is a paid opportunity.
